Cosco: Makes your cargo arrive better
The regularity you need, all the way from the origin to the final
destination.
Cosco Brazil
Founded in May 18, 1994, in the City of São Paulo, Cosco Brasil S/A
provides services to large producers of the industrial segment, cargo
brokers, nvocc's and foreign-trade companies, placing itself among
the largest Brazilian ocean-freight companies regarding freight volume.
The main objective of Cosco Brasil is to promote the ideal transportation
for the commerce between South-American countries, South Africa and
the Far East, commercially and operationally servicing all its ships
destined to Brazilian ports. Among the main types of transported goods
we can highlight food products, chemicals, petrochemicals and their
byproducts, durable products, equipment, auto parts and components.
Cosco's ships have reserved dock space every Monday morning, on the
left side dock of the Santos Container Terminal in Brazil. There they
count with the entire local infrastructure to perform efficient loading
and unloading operations. The departures usually happen 12 hours after
the docking.
Cosco containers arrive at their final destination with only one transshipment.
Cargoes to China, Japan and Australia are transshipped in Hong Kong.
Cargoes to the Persian Gulf and Saudi-Arabia are transshipped in Sin-gapore.
Santos Branch
Since July 1996 Cosco Brasil counts with its Santos Operational Unit.
Responsible for container control, customs documentation, ship catering
and other important support services to its customers and crew, the
Operational Unit through its work expedites the procedures regarding
cargo loading and unloading. With its local office close to the port,
the Operational Unit offers Cosco's customers agile information and
a modern service structure.
Cosco's professionals in Santos join in-depth technical knowledge
with connection and research information technology resources that
guarantee quick response to the customers' information needs.
